Our Mission is Simple

founder of Stable Grounds Coffee, Inc. My first job in Carteret County was as a Barista at Coffee Affair located in Morehead City. While working there I found the love of my life, a solid devotion to quality coffee, and lasting friendships with many of the patrons who frequented the popular coffee hub. I have forever been drawn to the small-town local coffee shops where I could find a good cup of coffee, a friendly barista and a comfortable atmosphere to relax and connect to myself or with friends. After making Newport my home for the past 15 years I decided to establish such a place, hence the creation of Stable Grounds Coffee, Inc. 

Here at Stable Grounds Coffee my mission is to provide an establishment where patrons can find delicious coffee and treats, good friends, with an inviting atmosphere that makes you want to sip and stay a while. We provide coffee from quality roasters, delicious treats made from local bakers, and comfortable seating indoor and out. Please visit and make us your favorite local coffee shop!
